Joseph E. Martell

Joe is a 1993 graduate of the University of South Dakota Law School, in the top third of his class. He is licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Wisconsin, and the area Tribal Courts of Bad River and Red Cliff.
He is a member of the Ashland/ Bayfield Bar Association, the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Wisconsin Association of Worker’s Compensation Attorneys.
Joe has taught real estate law and is a member of the Wisconsin Realtor’s Association. His practice includes civil litigation, construction lien perfection and foreclosure, criminal defense, family law, personal injury, real estate, and worker’s compensation.
Joe has an extensive background in the martial arts with over 21 years experience. He holds a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He has also trained and fought in I.K.F. full contact kick boxing. He also practices Aikido. He teaches fitness and martial arts classes at a local fitness center. He is a tree farmer and a member of the Wisconsin Woodland Owner’s Association. Joe lives in Grand View, Wisconsin.
Michael F. Fauerbach

Mike is a 1977 cum laude graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. Following graduation from law school, he was a clerk for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He then worked for two years as a trial attorney and supervising attorney with the Wisconsin Public Defender’s office. Mike has been involved in private practice in Ashland, Wisconsin since 1980.
Mike devotes much of his practice to personal injury, municipal law, and a variety of other litigation cases including boundary disputes and disputed easements. He is a member of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Ashland/ Bayfield County Bar Association. Mike is admitted to practice before the State and Federal Courts of Wisconsin, and is also a member of the Michigan Bar. He has published in the area of worker’s compensation.
Mike served five years on the Wisconsin Board of Attorney Professional Responsibility, with one year as Vice Chairman. At that time, this was the ethics board for Wisconsin attorneys and was appointed by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He has been an Ashland County Court Commissioner since 1985.
Mike practices forestry as a hobby. He is a charter member of the Wisconsin Woodland Owner’s Association and has published articles in their journal. Mike also speaks at seminars regarding tree farming legal issues. He is a former Iron County Tree Farmer of the Year. Mike resides on his tree farm in Saxon, Wisconsin with his wife Gloria.
